Project Overview
SolarLogix is honored to power a landmark of compassion and heritage—Woodburn Cottage at Dr. Graham’s Homes, Kalimpong—with clean and reliable solar energy.
This 5 kW semi-hybrid system, equipped with battery storage, ensures uninterrupted power for the children and caregivers at the cottage, even during frequent grid outages. This installation is not just about energy—it’s about sustaining a legacy of care.
🏡 A Heritage of Hope Meets the Power of the Sun
Founded in 1901 by Rev. Dr. John Anderson Graham, Woodburn Cottage was the first home established under St. Andrew’s Colonial Homes, now known as Dr. Graham’s Homes. Nestled on the serene Deolo Hills, the cottage was inaugurated by Sir John Woodburn, then Lt. Governor of Bengal, and continues to embody the spirit of nurturing and education for generations of Anglo-Indian and local children.
